Toyota Music Factory Half Marathon 2026

What should I expect from the terrain?

The course is a runner's dream if your goal is pure pace. It is described as mostly flat, utilizing the Las Colinas area and the Campion Trails. You won't be fighting massive elevation changes here, which makes it ideal for interval training or race-day testing. The transition from the paved urban sections to the trail paths provides just enough visual variety to keep you from zoning out during the mid-race grind.

How much is this going to set me back?

The pricing is refreshingly honest and rewards the early planners. For the Half Marathon, you’re looking at $84 if you move before April 12, 2026, scaling up to $119 if you wait until race day. The 10K and 5K follow a similar tiered structure. Given that you get a technical long-sleeve shirt with thumb holes and a finisher medal, the value for money is exceptionally high compared to the bloated registration fees of major city marathons.

What's the weather situation like in Irving in November?

November in North Texas is generally pleasant, but it is the "wildcard" season. Expect crisp morning temperatures—likely in the 40s or 50s (°F)—which is perfect for racing, but you might feel the heat rise as the sun hits the asphalt. Bring a light layer for the 7:30 AM start, but be prepared to shed it by mile eight.

What are my distance and timing options?

You have three distinct ways to tackle this event. The Half Marathon and 10K both flag off at 7:30 AM, while the 5K follows shortly after at 7:45 AM. The course closes at 11:00 AM, so if you are a slower mover, keep an eye on the clock, though the flat nature of the course should keep most people moving efficiently.

What happens once I cross the finish line?

Unlike many races where you grab a banana and vanish, this event doubles as a social hub. The finish line is located at the Toyota Music Factory, and they lean hard into the "post-race party" concept with live music, food, and exhibitors. You’ll get your finisher medal regardless of which distance you ran, and the proceeds support the Irving Police Association and local charities like the Special Olympics.
