Which distances should I sign up for?

You have four choices: a 1 Mile Kids Fun Run, 5K, 10K, and a Half Marathon. All main distances share a generous start window between 7:30 AM and 11:00 AM PDT. If you want the full experience of the worship stations and the community atmosphere without the heavy fatigue, the 10K is the sweet spot. The Half Marathon is there if you want the distance, but remember: this isn't a high-speed tactical race.

What can I expect from the route?

The course is a standard road layout through the urban and suburban streets of Victorville. It is non-technical and relatively flat, making it accessible for everyone from walkers to seasoned joggers. Expect a relaxed pacing environment; you'll be sharing the road with a wide mix of abilities, so don't be surprised if the "pack" is more of a moving community than a racing peloton.

Will I be melting in the California sun?

June in the High Desert is a gamble. While the race starts early, Victorville can heat up rapidly once the sun hits the pavement. You should prepare for warm temperatures and dress in lightweight, moisture-wicking gear. Since this is a community-focused event, the atmosphere is laid back, but the desert sun is not.

How much is this going to cost me?

The pricing is very fair: $39 for the Kids Fun Run, $69 for the 5K, $79 for the 10K, and $89 for the Half Marathon. Be aware that prices increase after June 12, 2026, so if you're on the fence, lock it in early. Given that the proceeds support the Parkker Hope Program, the registration fee feels more like a donation than a mere entry cost.

How do I get to the start line?

You'll likely fly into Ontario International (ONT) or Los Angeles International (LAX). From there, it’s a drive into the Victorville area.
