What is the course description for the 50K and Half Marathon?
All distances start and finish at the May Valley Loop Trailhead and begin with a steady but significant climb. The Half Marathon continues up to summit the southeast peak of Squak, follows trails along the north side, hits the Summit Aid Station, then completes another loop using part of the Chybinski Loop to summit the west peak of Squak. The 50K follows the Half Marathon course but includes extra loops in that section, then repeats the entire loop a second time. All distances descend west past the old historic Bullitt homestead remnants, described as super fun, fast, and technical. The course features rugged, steep terrain with significant elevation gain.
What is the course description for the 12K?
The 12K starts at the May Valley Loop Trailhead with a steady climb, then splits off from the Half Marathon course to head to the Summit Aid Station before finishing.
