What distances are available and what are the course descriptions?

• →5K: An out-and-back trail run located entirely on the south side of the lake.
• →10K: An out-and-back course featuring the north side for the first half and the south side for the second half; it is mostly trail with a significant paved section.
• →Half Marathon: A course consisting of 5 miles out on the north side, returning to the start/finish area at mile 10, and completing the final segment via the 5K course; it is approximately 50% pavement.

What is the race schedule?

• →Half Marathon: 7:30 AM start (3:15 time limit)
• →10K: 7:45 AM start
• →5K: 8:00 AM start
• →Back of the Pack cutoff: 11:30 AM for 5K/10K and 12:30 PM for the Half Marathon (this is a series category designation).

How much does registration cost?

• →5K: $30 until May 15; $35 after May 15; $40 on race day.
• →10K: $45 until May 15; $50 after May 15; $55 on race day.
• →Half Marathon: $65 until May 15; $70 after May 15; $75 on race day.

What is included with registration?

• →Finisher's Medal
• →Technical (Dri-fit) Event Shirt (Guaranteed if registered by May 13; otherwise, first-come, first-served)
• →Chip-timed results

What awards are presented?

• →Top 3 overall men and women.
• →Age group awards (1st and 2nd place, Male/Female) for the following categories: 19 & Under, 20–29, 30–39, 40–49, 50–59, 60–69, and 70+.

Note: Overall podium finishers are not eligible for age group awards.

Where are the water stations located?

• →Half Marathon: 8 stations located at approximately miles 1.55, 2.35, 4, 6.1, 7.7, 8.5, 10, and 11.55.
• →10K: 3 stations located at approximately miles 1.55, 3.1, and 4.65.
• →5K: 1 station located at approximately mile 1.55.

Gatorade is available at select stations.

What is the weather policy?

The event runs rain or shine. Cancellations are rare and will be communicated via email and social media.

Where can I pick up my race packet?

• →Friday, May 22: 5:30–7:00 PM at Road Runner Sports, 1120 W Broad St, Falls Church, VA 22046.
• →Race Morning: Available at the venue; participants are encouraged to arrive 60 minutes before their scheduled start time.
