What are the course details for the Marathon?

The USATF-certified marathon course, which serves as a Boston Marathon Qualifier, begins at Bold Point Park. It crosses the Linear Park bridge into India Park, follows riverfront bike paths and closed roads, and travels along Blackstone Boulevard. The route continues over the Henderson Bridge with views of the Seekonk River, moves through East Providence via Waterfront Drive, loops around the RI Country Club in Barrington, and finishes at Bold Point Park via the East Bay Bike Path. What is the RI250 5K "Renunciation Run"?

This 5K commemorates Rhode Island's 250th Anniversary, marking the date May 4, 1776, when the colony renounced allegiance to King George III. The course starts and finishes at Bold Point Park, heading east into East Providence along Veterans Memorial Parkway before returning via the East Bay Bike Path. What are the rules for the Kids Fun Run?

• →Distance: 1K out-and-back from Bold Point Park
• →Eligibility: Children under 10 years old only
• →Accompaniment: One parent may run alongside the child, but the parent must also be registered
• →Restrictions: No strollers are allowed
• →Awards: All finishers receive a participation medal

What are the course time limits?

• →Marathon: 6 hours
• →Half Marathon: 3.5 hours
• →5K: 1 hour

Note: After the cutoff time, runners must use sidewalks and follow traffic laws, and on-course aid stations will close.
