What are the race rules and format?
- →All distances are solo; no relays or teams are permitted.
- →For the 100 Mile distance, a mandatory 8-hour trail/environmental service requirement must be completed before the race.
- →Carrying the mandatory course GPX file is required at all times.
- →Dogs are strictly prohibited at all race areas; any runner associated with a dog on-site will be disqualified.
What weather conditions should I prepare for?
Participants must be prepared for extreme variability. Historically, the event has experienced near-perfect conditions, deep snow requiring course rerouting, storm cancellations, and brutal heat. Aid station captains have the authority to stop any runners who appear unprepared for the current conditions.
What is included with my race entry?

- →Note: Crew and spectators are welcome at the finish area with a cash donation.
What is the refund and deferral policy?
- →Refunds: 75% refund is available through April 30; no refunds are provided after this date.
- →Deferrals: Deferrals are only available in the event of pregnancy (including for partners).
- →Distance Changes: Runners may change to a shorter or longer distance, provided the change is made at least 3 weeks before the event and the new distance is not currently waitlisted.
