What are the course details for the Half Marathon?

The Half Marathon course begins and ends at the Marine Stadium near the Boat Launch Ramp. The route is a flat, fast road course that travels through Alamitos Bay, across 2nd Street, through the heart of Belmont Shore, and along the Long Beach coastline. What are the time limits and cut-off rules?

• →The overall time limit for the race is 3.5 hours.
• →Participants must pass the Mile 8.25 mark (located at 2nd Street & Bayshore Ave) by 9:00 AM.
• →Runners who do not meet the 9:00 AM requirement at Mile 8.25 will be required to follow all traffic laws as pedestrians.

Are there pace groups available?

Yes, pace groups are provided by A Snail's Pace Running Shops. Participants can sign up at the Health and Fitness Expo for the following target times:

• →1:30, 1:40, 1:45, 1:50, 1:55, 2:00, 2:10, 2:15, 2:20, and 2:30.

How can I identify my race category by bib color?

• →Half Marathon participants will wear yellow bibs.
• →5K participants will wear red bibs.
