What is the course format and elevation profile?

The Little River Rush Half Marathon is a road event featuring a point-to-point course that runs in one direction only. The route offers:

• →A total descent of over 600 feet
• →A net downhill profile of 200+ feet
• →A scenic path following the Little River from Townsend toward Maryville

When does the race start and what is the schedule?

• →Race Start: 7:30 AM on Saturday, May 16, 2026
• →Packet Pickup (Friday, May 15): 5:00–7:30 PM at Super Chix Farragut
• →Packet Pickup (Saturday, May 16): 5:30–7:00 AM at Heritage High School
• →Final Shuttle Departure: 6:45 AM sharp from the finish area to the start staging area

What distances are available?

• →Half Marathon (Point-to-point road course)

What amenities and aid stations are provided along the course?

• →Aid stations located at miles 4, 7, and 10
• →Water and Gatorade available at every aid station
• →Restrooms available at the start area, Heritage High School (finish area), and via portable toilets along the course

What is included with race registration?

• →A custom finisher medal (must register by May 1 to guarantee receipt)
• →An official race shirt (order deadline is May 1)

How are awards distributed?

Awards will be presented to the following categories:

• →Top 3 Overall: Male and Female
• →Top 3 per Age Group: Male and Female for the following brackets:

• Under 19

• 20–29

• 30–39

• 40–49

• 50–59

• 60–69

• 70+

What is the purpose of the event proceeds?

All proceeds from the Little River Rush Half Marathon benefit the Heritage High School Cross Country and Track & Field programs to support local student-athletes.
