What is the course terrain and type?

• →Half Marathon: Point-to-point. Mostly asphalt and paved trails with one short dirt/gravel section.
• →10K: Out-and-back. Paved trails and canyon terrain.
• →5K: Out-and-back. Paved trails and river terrain.
• →Kids Race: Paved loops around the soccer fields.

When and where is packet pickup?

• →Date: Friday, January 30, 2026
• →Time: 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM
• →Location: Washington City Community Center

Are there any time limits or cutoffs?

• →Half Marathon: 3 hours (cutoff at 12:00 PM)

Are there aid stations on the course?

• →Half Marathon: Miles 2, 4, 6, 10, and 12. Mile 12 offers drinks and Gu only.
• →10K: Miles 1.5 and 3.1.
• →5K: Mile 1.5.
• →Kids Race: None.

Is there transportation provided to the start lines?

• →Half Marathon: Mandatory shuttle service is provided from the finish line (Sullivan Virgin River Soccer Park) to the start line.
• →Shuttle Boarding: 7:30 AM - 8:15 AM.
• →Last Shuttle: 8:15 AM.

Is there a clothing drop service?

• →Yes, clothing drop is available at the start line or any aid station.
• →Items must be labeled with a bib number.
• →Clothing is collected at the finish line (Fishing Pond pavilion at Sullivan Park).
• →Unclaimed items are donated to Deseret Industries.

What are the age requirements for the Kids Race?

• →The Kids Race is limited to participants 12 years old and under.

Where is the start and finish location for the 10K and 5K?

• →Both the 10K and 5K start and finish at Sullivan Park.

What specific terrain sections exist in the Half Marathon?

• →The course starts at 193 N Old Highway 91, Hurricane.
• →It includes a descent into Coral Canyon.
• →There is a dirt/gravel section between Landfill Rd and the Cottonwood Trail paved trailhead.
• →It features a fast and steep descent to the Virgin River.
• →The finish is at Sullivan Park.
