What is the event format?

The event is a hybrid winter off-road multisport challenge consisting of three disciplines: running, fat-biking, and freestyle Nordic skiing. While the run takes place on a groomed multi-use path and the ski on groomed trails, the bike leg includes actual singletrack sections.

What are the specific distances for each discipline?

• →Run: 6K out-and-back on the Coastal Trail
• →Bike: 13K (two laps) on Raspberry Road multi-use paths and STA singletrack trails
• →Ski: 6K (two laps) of freestyle Nordic skiing on groomed park trails

What are the registration fees?

• →Solo Athlete: $100
• →Team (2–3 people): $205 per team
• →Discounts: $5 off for active/retired military and $5 off for 2026 Alaska Triathlon Club members

What is the age requirement to participate?

• →Solo Athlete: 16–89 years
• →Team Members: 12–89 years (minimum age 12 for team participants)

What is the event schedule?

What happens if the event is cancelled?

If the event is cancelled, registrants may defer their entry to the 2026 Hammerman, 2026 Moose Nugget, or 2027 Tri Flake.

Registration fees are non-refundable.

Yes, the final layout and distances may change based on snow conditions on race morning.
