What is the course layout for the 5K?

The 5K route consists of one lap heading south along the beach path and then returning to the start.

What is the course layout for the 10K?

The 10K route consists of two laps of the same 5K route.

What is the course layout for the 10-Miler?

The 10-Miler route consists of two laps of a dedicated 5-mile route along the shoreline.

What is the course layout for the Half Marathon?

The Half Marathon combines two laps of the 5-mile route plus one lap of the 5K route to complete 13.1 miles.

What are the race day start times?

• →Half Marathon and 10-Miler start at 7:00 AM
• →5K and 10K start at 7:30 AM
• →Bib pickup opens at 6:20 AM
• →Registration and start line close at 7:35 AM
• →Course closure occurs at 10:20 AM, 3 hours and 20 minutes after the first start

Is there an early start option for the Half Marathon and 10-Miler?

Yes, an early start at 6:30 AM may be arranged by email for Half Marathon and 10-Miler participants only. However, early starters are not eligible for awards.

What aid stations will be available during the event?

There is one fully stocked water station along the course, and the finish line features a comprehensive aid station with water, electrolyte drinks, energy gels, and fruit snacks. All aid stations are staffed with CPR-trained crew members and first aid kits.

What is included in the registration?

All participants receive a finisher medal. Overall first-place male and female awards are presented in each distance category. Race photos are complimentary, and results with photo links will be emailed the day after the event.

Are there any rules about the course?

Runners must stay on the right side of the path, which is designated for pedestrian use. Course turns are marked with chalk, runner turn signs, and flags for clear navigation.

What is the expected weather on race day?

On February 15, 2026, Long Beach is expected to have partly cloudy skies with temperatures ranging from 50°F to 60°F.

What are the course restrictions?

The course is shared with pedestrians and cyclists, so runners must follow the designated path and remain on the right side of the multi-use beachfront path.
