What is the Early Start Option for 2026?

• →The Early Start Option allows walkers who estimate needing 6–7.5 hours for the full marathon or 3:15–4:15 hours for the half marathon to start 60 minutes earlier at 6:00 AM.
• →Participants must provide proof of a previous finish time and receive approval from race management.
• →Support includes lead and tail vehicles, pacers, aid stations, volunteer support, and official timing throughout the course.
• →All early starters will receive an official finish time and finisher recognition.
• →Reflective gear and a headlamp/light are mandatory before daylight.
• →No participant may go ahead of the lead pacer, who is targeting a 6:15 finish for the full marathon.
