The course features a 100% hardpacked dirt surface with no gravel, asphalt, or sidewalks. The 1-mile loop includes smooth turns with ample room for passing runners, and presents only 50 feet of elevation gain per loop, making it accessible for runners of various fitness levels. The aid station can be bypassed if participants do not require assistance during their loops.
What awards are offered for completing the 100-mile distance?
Participants who complete 100 miles within 31 hours receive a special buckle award. Additionally, runners who achieve 80 miles within 24 hours are granted 7 extra hours to reach the 100-mile milestone and qualify for the buckle. The Pumpkin Mile challenge also offers a prize to the runner with the fastest loop time while carrying the pumpkin.
