Should I be worried about the heat and humidity?
Expect the classic Singaporean "sauna" experience. Even with a 4 AM flag-off, the humidity will be punishing by the time you reach the latter half of your distance. Since it's late October, you might also encounter sudden tropical rain showers. Wear moisture-wicking gear that doesn't get heavy when soaked, and don't skimp on electrolyte supplementation.
How much am I going to spend on registration?
It’s relatively steep once you factor in the 9% GST and the 8% processing fee. If you catch the Early Bird window (25 March – 30 April 2026), you're looking at SGD 85 for the 10KM and SGD 105 for the 21KM. If you miss that, expect to pay a "convenience tax" of an extra SGD 20. For a single race, it's on the higher side, but you are paying for the Garmin Series credentials.
What are my distance options and can I actually get in?
You have two choices: the 10KM Run (minimum age 13) and the 21KM Half Marathon (minimum age 16). Take note: the 21KM is already listed as SOLD OUT in the current data, so if you wanted the half, you're likely out of luck unless a spot opens up. The 10KM is your best bet for a fast, sharp effort.
Is there anything special waiting for me at the finish line?
Beyond the standard finisher swag, the real prize is for the completionists. If you manage to finish 10 out of the 13 cities in the Garmin Marathon Series between 2022 and 2027, you earn a customized 18K gold-plated medal. If you're just here for a one-off, you'll get the standard race entitlements, but the glory is in the series tally.
What do I need to know about collecting my race pack?
If you are flying in from abroad, don't try to collect your pack at the venue on the morning of the race unless you want to risk it. There is a specific late collection window for international runners on 24 October at Marina Barrage. For locals, stick to the official window at GENEO (16–18 October) to avoid the SGD 20 late fee. If you can't make it, send a friend—just make sure they have your confirmation slip and the proper authorization form.
