What is the schedule for the race weekend?

The event takes place over two days with different disciplines:

• Saturday, 23 May 2026 (06:00–16:00 SAST): Peace & Trail Runs (5km, 10km, 11km, 22km, and 43km distances).
• Sunday, 24 May 2026 (06:00–13:30 SAST): Main Road Marathon (42.2km).

What distances and race types are available?

The weekend features both road and trail options:

• Road Events:

* 5km Peace Run (Minimum age: 9 years)

* 10km Peace Run (Minimum age: 14 years)

* 42.2km Road Marathon (Minimum age: 18 years)

• Trail Events (Table Mountain):

* 11km Cape Town Trail (Minimum age: 18 years)

* 22km Cape Town Trail (Minimum age: 18 years)

* 43km Cape Town Trail Marathon (Minimum age: 20 years)

Where and when can I collect my race pack?

Race pack collection takes place at the DHL Stadium, adjacent to the start and finish lines. Please note that packs cannot be collected on race day.

• Thursday, 21 May: 09:00–19:00 (All events)
• Friday, 22 May: 09:00–18:00 (All events)
• Saturday, 23 May: 10:00–17:00 (Marathon only)

To collect your pack, you must present your official race confirmation via email or WhatsApp. If collecting for another runner, you must present their individual confirmation; name/number lists are not accepted.

What is included in my registration?

• T-shirts: Included for the 42.2km Road Marathon, 22km Trail, and 43km Trail. Please note that T-shirt sizes are provided on a first-come, first-served basis.
• Exclusions: T-shirts are not included for the 5km or 10km Peace Runs.
• Merchandise: Exclusive event merchandise is available at the official adidas store located at the Expo.

What are the rules regarding entries and refunds?

• Entries are strictly non-transferable and non-refundable.
• Deferrals are only permitted in cases of pregnancy or postpartum recovery.

What can I expect from the course terrain?

The event offers two distinct running experiences:

• Road Marathon: A fast-paced, global city course designed to suit both elite athletes and social runners.
• Trail Runs: Located on Table Mountain, these routes feature mixed mountain terrain, providing a striking contrast to the flat road marathon.
