What is the course layout and terrain like?

The event utilizes a road and mixed-terrain path format along the River Murray bank, rather than a traditional trail run. The course is described as very flat with only minor inclines and consists of well-maintained, often shady paths. Parts of the longer distances follow the Parkrun ↗ route.

• →5 km: An out-and-back course starting and finishing on the path opposite Powerhouse Hall.
• →10 km: An out-and-back course starting opposite the Powerhouse, extending approximately 2 km beyond Apex Park.
• →Half Marathon: An out-and-back course following the Parkrun ↗ route and continuing approximately 7.55 km beyond Apex Park.
• →Marathon: The half-marathon course completed twice in the same out-and-back pattern.

For those arriving in Mildura early, it is suggested to participate in the Mildura Weir Parkrun ↗ on Saturday morning as a "homework" warm-up prior to the Sunday festival.
