The 2026 Costa Rica 200 is scheduled to take place from April 27 to May 2, 2026, traversing the diverse landscapes of Costa Rica from the Caribbean coast to the Pacific Ocean. Starting in Parismina and concluding in Quepos, participants will navigate a nonstop, mixed-terrain ultra-endurance course spanning approximately 207–211 miles (332–341 km). While the race crosses various microclimates, the general weather patterns for the region during this period involve tropical conditions characterized by extreme heat, high humidity, and the potential for torrential rain. Runners will encounter temperatures ranging from below 35°F (2°C) at high-altitude points to above 90°F (32°C) near the coastal areas.
