After the opening climbs, the 10-mile race features buttery singletrack through neon-green forests, a quick creek crossing, lake views, and a descent toward the park's north end. The course includes an out-and-back segment to the North Entrance Aid Station, a traverse along Devils Butte's flank, a short steep descent into a canyon followed by a climb out, and a return via Midway Trail to the finish.
