What is the terrain and course composition like?

The event is a pure trail run with no road sections. The course composition consists of:

• →80% single track trails
• →20% dirt forest roads or two-track

What can runners expect from the specific race routes?

• →The 50K and Marathon routes follow the rugged Lake Superior coastline along high bluffs and shoreline forests, before winding inland along the shores of Culhane Lake and the Little Two Hearted River.
• →The Half Marathon route loops through old-growth white pine forests and follows the southern ridge of Clark Lake.

Where is the finish line located?

All race distances finish at Upper Tahquamenon Falls. For post-race amenities, the Camp 33 Brew Pub is located approximately 200 meters from the finish area.
