What are the available race distances and formats?

• →5 km: An out and back course along the river pathway.
• →10 km: A course consisting of two laps between the designated turn points.
• →Half Marathon (21.1 km): A course consisting of three laps between the turn points before finishing.

All races begin and end at the lower level of Louise McKinney Riverfront Park, with all courses running east along the river pathway. What is the concept behind the Spring Challenge?

The event is built around the concept of progression. Runners are encouraged to "Take the Challenge" by attempting to improve their personal times or by stepping up to a longer distance between the spring and fall editions of the event. For instance, a runner might complete the 5 km in the spring and aim for a faster time or transition to the 10 km distance during the fall edition.
