Do not attempt the Half Marathon if you aren't acclimated to high temperatures. Wear lightweight, moisture-wicking gear and prioritize hydration long before you hit the start line. This is a "sunscreen and electrolytes" kind of morning.

What are my options for distance?

You can choose from a 1 Mile Family Fun Run, 5K, 10K, or the Half Marathon. For those who want the experience without the Phoenix heat, the Virtual Run option is available. If you are running in person, the 5K and 10K offer the best balance of "event feel" without the grueling endurance requirements of the Half in a desert summer. Note that waves start at 7:30 AM, 8:00 AM, and 8:30 AM.

What do I get for my registration fee?

For the price point, the value is quite high. You get a running T-shirt (shipped to you, which is a massive logistical win), a finisher medal, a towel or giveaway, a digital training pack, and a certificate.
