Yes. You are running in Las Vegas on the Fourth of July. Even with a 7:30 AM start, the desert sun is unforgiving and temperatures will climb rapidly. Wear highly breathable, moisture-wicking gear and don't skimp on electrolyte supplementation. This isn't the time for heavy cotton; you'll be soaked and heavy within twenty minutes.

What are my distance and timing options?

The event uses a wave system to keep things manageable: Wave A starts at 7:30 AM, Wave B at 8:00 AM, and Wave C at 8:30 AM. You can choose between the 1 Mile, 5K, 10K, or the Half Marathon. If you prefer to run on your own terms, the Virtual Run option allows you to submit your results later.
