You have four options: a 1-mile family run, 5K, 10K, and a Half Marathon. All distances share a generous three-hour window from 7:30 AM to 10:30 AM, with waves starting every 30 minutes. If you want the "real" experience, the 10K is the sweet spot for this venue, but the Half Marathon is a great way to get miles in without the intense pressure of a major city marathon.

What is the course actually like?

Since the official map isn't out, expect the classic Lincoln Park experience: paved paths that wind through trees and likely hug the waterfront. Expect rolling terrain—Seattle parks rarely offer true flatness—so don't be surprised by some gentle, rhythmic climbs that will test your legs more than a road race in the Midwest.

Should I expect a serious racing atmosphere?

No. This is a non-competitive, informal event. There are no timing chips, so you'll need to rely on your own GPS watch or phone to track your pace. It’s designed to be stress-free and inclusive, which is a breath of fresh air if you're tired of the hyper-organized, "race-machine" atmosphere of larger metropolitan events.
