• →30K Solo – One loop around the reservoir, starting at 8:00 AM
• →10K – A quick loop through the pines, starting at 9:00 AM

What does the course description include for the 50K and 30K distances?

The course runs along the pine-lined shores of Quemahoning Reservoir in the Laurel Highlands, Somerset County, featuring buttery singletrack weaving through thick pine stands, rolling hills and shaded valleys, occasional rocky stretches, a few stream crossings, and soft forest floors throughout. The 50K covers two full laps around the reservoir and dam with approximately 3,100 feet of elevation gain total, while the 30K is one lap.

How is the 4-person relay structured?

Leg 1: 9 miles

Leg 2: 8 miles

Leg 3: 7 miles

Leg 4: 10 miles

Where is the race headquarters located?

All races start and finish at Camp Harmony, a woodland retreat at 1414 Plank Road, Hooversville, PA, which serves as packet pickup, aid station hub, relay exchange zone, and post-race celebration ground. Check-in opens at 7:00 AM on race day.

What accommodations are available on-site?

Rustic cabins sleeping multiple people are available within yards of the start/finish line, along with restrooms and showers on-site. Tent camping is also available on-site from Friday night. What is included in the post-race activities?

A bonfire and campfire-style feast at Camp Harmony.

What are the registration policies?

Guaranteed shirt deadline is April 3, 2026. Refunds are not given after January 1, 2026. Deferrals are allowed until March 31, 2026. Bib transfers are allowed until race day.

What is the purpose of the race?

Race proceeds support local children attending Camp Harmony church camps and fund the Johnstown Running Club's mission to grow running and outdoor recreation in the region.
