• →Courses run primarily on dirt trails with optional sections on sectioned-off paved road or dirt road shoulders, passing through the Air Force Academy Reservation and surrounding mountains

What are the ruck requirements for military divisions?

• →Minimum 35 lbs of weight for non-consumption purposes (weighted plates or equivalent) for Military Heavy and Military Half-Heavy
• →Ruck weigh-in will occur a few days before the event

What amenities and support are provided on course?

• →Aid stations positioned approximately every 4–5 miles, stocked with water, Gatorade, and snacks
• →A detailed race route with cutoff schedule will be sent to participants the week of the race
• →All runners must finish before official sunset

What awards or recognition are offered?

• →Finishers of the 50 Miler earn the iconic Falcon 50 belt buckle
• →Awards and prizes details are event-specific and will be communicated to participants

What weather conditions can participants expect?

• →Early spring conditions in Colorado Springs with morning temperatures in the 40s°F (4–9°C) and afternoon warming to the low 60s°F (15–17°C)
• →Low precipitation probability, but participants should prepare for variable mountain weather
