• →Finish line back at Mountain Outfitters

What is the course structure for the 5-Mile Run?

• →Follows the Mountain Goat Trail to Mountain Outfitters in Monteagle
• →Crosses a bridge into the parking lot at Pearl's, joining the walk route at that point

What is the course structure for the 2-Mile Walk?

• →Follows the Mountain Goat Trail to Monteagle
• →Same finish area as runners

• →Volunteers in safety vests at crossings on the course

• →On the Mountain Goat Trail, near Dollar General

What happens after crossing the finish line?

• →All finishers make their way to Mountain Outfitters parking lot for prize drawings (tickets provided by Mountain Outfitters)

What is the terrain type for the event?

• →Paved Mountain Goat Trail
• →Smooth gravel sections (approximately 3 miles in the half marathon portion)
• →Some portions share the same route between different races

What should participants be aware of on the trail?

• →Stay to the right side of the trail
• →Be aware that half-marathon and 5-mile runners may also be on the course
• →Be courteous of walkers, as runners from behind have been asked to be courteous of walkers

Are there shuttle services available?

• →Yes, shuttles are available to take entrants back to Pearl's and Sewanee. Please be patient as wait times may be long.

What is the course certification status?

• →The race length has not been certified. Race clock and timing software will be used.
