What is the course like?

The course is predominantly flat and runs mainly on paved paths throughout Exhibition Park and The Town Moor. One section of the course transitions to a stone or trail surface, making this a mixed-terrain event. The course is wheelchair accessible with caution advised on the single trail section. Buggies are permitted, and dogs are welcome on short leads/harnesses. Runners should stay to the left where possible and remain aware of other park users, as the route crosses public land.

What are the registration deadlines?

Entry prices increase after 2 January 2026. Online registration closes on 27 January 2026 unless the event sells out earlier. Limited on-the-day entries may be available for £30 (5K/10K) or £35 (half marathon).

What is included in registration?

Race packs—including chip-timed bib numbers—are collected on-site on the day of the event. Bag storage is available but limited. Toilets, coffee, and snacks will be available in the event hub. All participants receive a commemorative medal, chip-timed results via Results Base, and water and snacks at the finish line. Trophies are awarded to category winners.

What are the event schedule and timing?

Registration opens at 8:00 AM and closes at 9:50 AM. The Half Marathon starts at 9:00 AM, and the 5K and 10K races start at 10:00 AM. Cut-off times are 2 hours for 5K/10K and 3 hours for the half marathon.

Headphones are permitted but must be used at a volume low enough to hear marshals and surroundings. Children of all ages are welcome, but guardians must remain onsite. A virtual participation option is available for those unable to attend in person, with a medal mailed post-event.
