2026 Delano Park
The 2026 Delano Park event will take place on March 7, 2026, in Decatur, Alabama, at Delano Park. What is the refund policy for this event?
ABSOLUTELY NO refund of registration fee after 1/31/2026. Refunds issued via check for registration fee ONLY (Tax and UltraSignup fees are non-refundable). Contact the Race Director by email if refund is needed.
What is the late registration policy?
Late registrations are accepted at packet pickup Friday night (5:30–7:00 PM) at Westminster Presbyterian Church, 801 Jackson St SE, Decatur, AL 35601. Late registrations are available only if individual 12 Hour and 50 mile divisions are not full. Late registrants are not guaranteed a shirt or personalized plaque but can participate as official runners.
How are personalized finisher plaques handled?
Registered runner names and relay team names must be submitted to the awards maker by Monday, 2/23. Register by 6:00 AM Monday to guarantee your name/team name on the plaque.
How are relay teams structured?
Teams of 2, 3, or 4 persons can participate. The Team Captain registers first, pays, and creates the team name. Other members register individually to join the team. Each member receives an individual plaque showing personal mile total; the team receives one plaque showing total team miles.
What is included in packet pickup and race day?
Packet pickup is available Friday from 5:30–7:00 PM at Westminster Presbyterian Church, 801 Jackson St SE, Decatur, AL 35601. A carb-loading dinner is available for $5 donation to the Center for Developmentally Disabled of North Central Alabama. Race day packet pickup begins at 5:00 AM at Delano Park, with pre-labeled race bags. If picking up for a non-participating entrant, return the shoe timing chip to the timing trailer.
What awards are given out at the event?
- →12 Hour Run: Top 3 overall, masters, and grandmasters awards based on highest mileage completed; relay awards to top team by mileage. Final rankings determined by last full lap finished before 6:00 PM.
- →50 Mile Event: Awards based on finish time to first male and female individuals.
- →Awards dinner: 6:30–8:00 PM at Westminster Presbyterian Church, 801 Jackson St SE, Decatur, AL 35601. 50-mile winners may collect awards at the race site if needed.
What schwag and recognition is provided to participants?
All participants receive a personalized finisher plaque (with name and total mileage), a race T-shirt, and additional race schwag. Mile splits are captured for every participant throughout the event. Participants celebrating their 10th year of participation should email the Race Director ASAP to receive special recognition.
