Course Details and Terrain

What are the course characteristics for each distance?

• →5K: 1 lap
• →10K: 2 laps
• →Half Marathon: 4 laps plus a 1.1 km finishing section

What is the terrain type?

• →Mixed-terrain (mainly paved paths with a short light trail section)
• →Mostly flat and scenic within Bute Park
• →Buggy- and wheelchair-friendly, though the short unpaved section may require extra care in wet conditions

Race Day Logistics

When is registration open?

• →Registration is open from 8:00 AM to 9:50 AM on the morning of the event.

How are race packs collected?

• →Race packs are collected on the morning of the event at the registration tent in Coopers Field.

What facilities are available at the event hub?

• →Bag drop (limited space)
• →Toilets
• →Refreshments
• →Coffee and snacks for sale

What timing system is used?

• →Chip-on-bib system; bibs must be displayed visibly on the outer layer.

Race Rules and Participant Information

Are headphones permitted during the race?

• →Headphones are allowed, but participants must stay alert to marshal instructions and other runners.

How should runners position themselves at the start?

• →Runners should line up according to pace, with faster participants toward the front.

Are there any course restrictions?

• →The course is open to the public; runners should keep left unless directed otherwise.

Where are the water stations located?

• →Water stations are available at the start/finish and at the lap point.

• →Every finisher receives a medal.

• →Trophies are awarded for top performances.

How are results provided?

• →Instant results are displayed on-site via Results Base Timing and later emailed to participants.
