Trails run through redwood forests under moss-covered 2nd and 3rd generation redwoods along small streams and gullies, transitioning to mixed evergreen forests, drier chaparral and manzanita-covered ridgelines with breathtaking views. The terrain consists of mostly dirt trails and fire roads that are moderately technical.
